The purpose of the Five County Ham Radio Enthusiasts is to help you achieve the amateur radio license you desire for free. New technician applicants  your FRN is required. For instructions on how to get your FRN and how to study visit the Five County Steps to tech webpage.
This page is for a in-person exam at the AB4OZ Hamfest on 6200 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh NC 27602.  The exam starts at 10:00 AM.

For free amateur radio exams in your area Laurel VEC

Five County is conducting a weekly net on Sunday at 7:00 PM.  The net will be on the Carolina 440 Net frequencies.

Five County VE Team is now teamed up with our gracious host that provides us with a monthly testing location at their Banks Road office location Supreme T-shirts and Apparel and now The Ham Badgers providing us with financial support so we can continue giving free amateur radio exams.
